Anyway, he had a link to a Master Fiction Plot. And it looks like it would work. And I'm about 100% sure I've read and enjoyed it several times already.
The temptation, as always, is to try it and see if it's really so easy. Like most recipes, it's the fiddly details and the timing that screw everything up and then, ugh, burnt salad.
