Woken Furies - Richard Morgan

I really enjoyed the two earlier books in this series, Altered Carbon and Broken Angels, and was looking forward to reading this one, too.  It's been a while since I read the other two, but I think this one was particularly well done.  I'm tempted to say I liked it more.  Morgan also does a good job of treating these books like stand alone novels.  There's certainly detail from the other books mixed in, but I think a person could pick almost any of them up and just read.

I would like to borrow that one sometime.

No problem. I'll just need to remember to bring it. :-)

I definitely liked this one more. And FAR more than Market Forces (and yes, I know that one's unrelated to the others).

Yeah, Market Forces was weird. His characterizations were excellent. But the main premise? I just couldn't buy into it. King's Running Man was easier to swallow.
