The Prestige - Christopher Priest

This book won the 1996 World Fantasy Award and I can certainly see why.  It's a tricky little story and I don't know if it would work for just anyone.  It worked for me and I really loved it.  I wouldn't mind finding some more of Priest's work, but I get the impression he isn't one of those high volume writers.

OK, I know I said the name was familiar, but I just looked at a list of his books. I don't recognize any of them. Perhaps I could borrow one someday?

Thanks for the note! I appreciate hearing/reading about what you & yours are reading and liking.

I stuck this in my memories for future reference.

ditto.

also, may I say that I'm impressed by your reading speed.
I used to read books fast like that. :) I really enjoyed plowing through something and getting the whole juicyness of it within a short time.

I blame the construction on the Low Level. I'm getting an extra 15 minutes of book reading done in the mornings thanks to that. That's an hour and 15 minutes extra in a typical work week.
